About the role
We are looking for a Growth Marketing & SDR Lead to own our outbound and account-based marketing programs, manage the SDR function, and strengthen the handoff between Marketing and Sales.
This role will work closely with Sales to translate priority accounts and campaign themes into coordinated outbound programs that generate qualified pipeline. You will also manage SDR execution and the MQL-to-SQL process, ensuring prospects receive timely, relevant follow-up and move through a clear, measurable funnel.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can build campaigns, coach SDRs, improve processes, and use performance data to drive better results. The role will not own event execution or organic social media.
What you’ll own
- Develop and execute outbound and account-based marketing programs targeting their priority accounts, industries, and buyer personas.
- Partner with Sales on account selection, segmentation, messaging, buying-group coverage, and outreach strategies.
- Translate broader campaign themes into coordinated email, paid media, content, executive outreach, and SDR programs.
- Build campaign briefs, landing pages, email programs, outreach sequences, and sales enablement materials in partnership with Content, Design, Demand Generation, and Marketing Operations.
- Directly manage, coach, and develop the SDR team, including priorities, workflows, performance expectations, and day-to-day execution.
- Create SDR account lists, outreach plays, talk tracks, sequences, and qualification standards.
- Own the MQL-to-SQL process, including lead routing, follow-up SLAs, qualification criteria, dispositioning, recycling, and reporting.
- Partner with Marketing Operations and Sales Operations to improve lead scoring, lifecycle stages, CRM workflows, data quality, and funnel visibility.
- Establish strong feedback loops between Marketing, SDRs, and Account Executives to improve targeting, messaging, and campaign performance.
- Measure and report on target-account engagement, qualified meetings, MQL-to-SQL conversion, SQL creation, SDR performance, and pipeline contribution.
- Continuously test and optimize targeting, messaging, personalization, sequencing, and channel mix.
What we’re looking for
- 5–7 years of experience in B2B growth marketing, demand generation, account-based marketing, outbound marketing, or a related revenue-focused role.
- Previous experience directly managing, coaching, and developing SDRs is required.
- Hands-on HubSpot experience is required, including workflows, lead scoring, lifecycle stages, routing, sequences, campaign reporting, and funnel attribution.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing one-to-one, one-to-few, and/or one-to-many ABM programs.
- Experience managing or improving the MQL-to-SQL handoff process.
- Strong understanding of B2B outbound strategy, account research, personalization, prospecting sequences, and sales enablement.
- Proven ability to partner closely with Sales leadership, Account Executives, Marketing Operations, and Sales Operations.
- Strong analytical, communication, project management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Comfortable moving between strategy, hands-on campaign execution, people management, and performance analysis.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience integrating HubSpot with sales engagement, enrichment, intent-data, advertising, or ABM platforms.
- Experience marketing enterprise technology, warehouse automation, supply chain solutions, or another complex B2B product.
- Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience building or scaling an SDR function or outbound playbook.
How success will be measured
- Qualified pipeline and SQLs generated through outbound and ABM programs.
- Engagement and buying-group coverage within Verity’s priority accounts.
- MQL acceptance, speed-to-lead, and MQL-to-SQL conversion.
- SDR performance, qualified-meeting conversion, and pipeline contribution.
- Stronger alignment among Marketing, SDRs, and Sales.
- Consistent HubSpot usage, funnel visibility, and reporting accuracy.
